Marie Curie Cream Tea Party
On Saturday 30th June, 2011 we had our 1st fundraising event for Marie Curie Nurses. The Mayor of Verwood, Cllr Toni Coombs enjoyed her afternoon with us in the sunshine and everyone enjoyed cream scones and muffins. |

River Itchen Boat Trip
On 20th July we set sail on the Alison Macgregor from Hythe Marina out towards the Southampton Docks. We saw the massive cargo ships in the docks unloading their cargo. We continued pass the busy docks to the peaceful and beautiful River Itchen. |

Waypoints Boat Trip on Southampton Water
Tuesday 24th May 2011 has arrived. The first boat trip to take place. We all met in the car park ready to board the bus which had been adapted to take 2 to 3 wheelchair residents; and under the watchful eye of Yvonne, Donna and John we set off with Yvonne at the wheel. |

Royal Wedding Celebrations at Waypoints (Verwood)
22nd April 2011 was a party day for the whole country and Waypoints (Verwood) was certainly not going to let the Royal Wedding day go by without some serious celebrations. |

Morning activities in the garden
The dementia-friendly garden at Waypoints has been designed to enhance the overall environment of the home by providing a safe and secure space which residents can utilise in a meaningful way. |

Christmas at Waypoints Verwood
Our residents enjoyed a lovely traditional Christmas meal of Roast Turkey with all the trimmings followed by a very festive Christmas pudding. Afterwards, local children from Hillside Middle School Choir sang a wonderful selection of Christmas carols. |

Waypoints opens its doors
Since opening at the end of October, Waypoints has been playing host to a steady stream of visitors, all eager to see what's been developing at Verwood. |
