Waypoints Plymouth officially opened
A pioneering £6.2 million specialist care home for people living with dementia was opened in Plymouth (7 December 2012). It is only the second of its kind in the country and Waypoints Care Group says it chose the city because of its forward thinking approach to developing health and social care for people with dementia.

Starbucks Came to visit us at Waypoints
Starbucks is a 4 year old Shetland pony who dropped in to say hello to everyone.
He toured the home popping into bedrooms and lounges to see everybody.

The Allen Singers
The Allen Singers came share a selection of songs from Abba to Disney. We all loved the choice of very entertaining tunes. We joined in with the songs we knew and we had a fabulous time.

The weather was extremely variable but we kept smiling.
We talked to people to raise awareness of dementia and invited people to our ‘Lunch Clubs’.

Race for life - Sarah does it again!!!
In July Sarah Laskey-Seabrook ran the race for life for the 4th year. She raised a fantastic £500 for Cancer Research.
